QRAIS’s inaugural public event

QRAIS’s inaugural public event was a membership drive attended by IS professionals and academics alike. The event featured a short networking session and a talk by Professor Tridas Mukhopadhyay who is a CMU Deloitte Consulting Professor. President Professor Selma and Professor Khaled El-Share also gave a presentation on the history of AIS and the QRAIS chapter. This was followed by audience introductions and a final Q&A. The event concluded successfully by bringing together IS business and academia personalities under a shared understanding of the status of IS in the region and Qatar specifically.
