Biography

Preetha Gopinath has a earned a Master's Degree in Computer Application from the University of Kerala. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Computer Application, from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2003. Preetha has over 5 years of experience in Research, Teaching and Software Development. She joined Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar as a Research Associate in 2014 for a National Priorities Research Program that is funded by Qatar National Research Fund. Prior to joining CMU, she was employed with Kuwait University as a Teaching Assistant where she was involved in Management Information Systems, ERP software course, and Web Development course [Basic and Advanced] in .NET and SQL and Information Systems Security Course. She has also worked as a Software Engineer for Allianz and Tata Consultancy Services in India where she worked in Java/J2EE and Oracle.
