Biography

Maher hakim holds a Ph.D. in computer-aided engineering and management from Carnegie mellon University and a m.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. he is a visiting associate professor of Information Systems at Carnegie mellon University Qatar. maher spent the last two decades in the San francisco Bay area as a serial entrepreneur working on a number of technology startup companies. after finishing his Ph.D., maher joined autodesk where he worked on his first "startup" ventures building Internet-based content management and project collaboration tools and services.
