Biography

Dr. Karma Sherif is a Professor of Management Information Systems at the College of Business and Economics, Qatar University. Before joining Qatar University, she taught at Temple University, Texas Tech, and Texas Southern in the US. Her research focuses on the adoption of disruptive technologies like the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain. Karma has published articles in top-tier MIS journals such as MIS Quarterly, Decision Support Systems, Journal of the Association of Information Systems, and Information & Management. She has is currently serving as the faculty advisor of the MIS Club at Qatar University.
